The study is based on the descriptive and statistical analysis method of some of the most important state functions in the agricultural sector, making comparisons, analyzing the results, and linking that to development goals and procedures, based on the little available experiences and literature in this field. The study came in five chapters, in addition to the introduction, summary, and recommendations. The first chapter deals with the role of the state in financing the agricultural sector. The second chapter deals with the role of the state in the markets and preventing monopoly. The third chapter deals with the role of the state in protecting low-income people and confronting the low standard of living in the agricultural sector. The fourth chapter deals with the role of the state in protecting the environment and preventing pollution.
