It has been nearly impossible – for the purpose of development of Egypt- conducting a mere domestic analysis of the industrial sector. Necessities of competitiveness on the global scale require building integrated and multi-disciplinary strategy, putting in its interest the competitive on the world scale. Therefore, this study introduced an integral view of the general strategy of the Egyptian industry, on the basis of methodological analysis of the reality, on the Spheres of Vision, Mission, Strategic Pivots and determinants of achievements. After that, the study concentrates on detailed research of the Textile and clothing sector, which had been one of the most Prominent sectors of the Egyptian industry.
