Sumari:This study aims to develop mathematical programming models for economic planning at firm and sectoral levels, emphasizing their applications. Chapter one addresses the challenges of model construction, their importance, types, and uses. Chapter two provides a case study of applying a mathematical model to a single industry, illustrating its potential. Chapter three focuses on the challenges of the Egyptian cotton industry and how these models can contribute to addressing them. The study highlights the role of such models in enhancing planning and decision-making, promoting efficiency and sustainability in the economic sector
