| Zusammenfassung: | Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is a statistical method used to separate the total variation in a variable into components of interest for experimental analysis. It is particularly useful in evaluating the effects of different factors on a variable. For instance, in a gunnery experiment, different brands of shells are tested for quality by having six marksmen fire an equal number of rounds with each brand. The scores, representing the variable, are recorded and arranged in a table with rows representing marksmen and columns representing shell brands. This tabular arrangement facilitates the study of variations attributed to marksmen, shell brands, and other factors. |
