Industrial development is considered one of the most important pillars of comprehensive development. Therefore, developing countries have been in urgent need of advancing their industrial sectors, given their significant capacity to contribute to increasing national income and creating new employment opportunities. It also plays a vital role in improving the balance of payments by substituting local products for many imports and increasing export goods.
In this context, research and studies on industrial development become particularly important. These studies are divided into three parts:
The first part analyzes the historical evolution of the role of manufacturing industries in the Egyptian economy.
The second part focuses on future-oriented studies related to selected manufacturing industries.
The third part is devoted to analyzing some of the main problems that hinder the growth of manufacturing industries in Egypt. |
