The Toshka project was implemented about ten years ago with the aim of attracting residents to settle in the area and to exploit its natural, industrial, and tourist resources, in order to create an integrated community. However, there has been much debate about the achievements of this project. Therefore, the study aimed to uncover the truth of the matter. The project was indeed executed, but the results were slow and unsatisfactory, especially in the field of agriculture, as it has been the only productive activity so far.
