In October 1973, Egypt crossed the Suez Canal to reclaim and liberate the precious land of Sinai. Then the decision was made to establish the Peace Canal to develop Sinai, cultivate 450 thousand acres, and establish agricultural and industrial urban communities that open up future horizons.
