This study aims to track the deficit in the current account balance with the outside world, identify the factors causing the exacerbation of this deficit, analyze and evaluate the policies adopted to confront it, and attempt to propose a strategy that works on the gradual correction of reducing the balance of payments and aims to eliminate it in the long term.
