| Streszczenie: | This note reviews the design of the National Accounts developed between 1955 and 1960 as part of the national planning commission's efforts for the first five-year plan. The document was written in the context of a National Accounting conference attended by African experts in Addis Ababa in June 1960. At that time, National Accounting was undergoing substantial development in both theoretical and statistical aspects. However, since then, interest in this field has waned, and it can now be said that this interest has stagnated. Initially, the design aimed to serve specific purposes, mainly planning within an institutional framework. Over time, it was replaced by a new "design" adopted in the Annual Plan Documents, which significantly broadened the definition of "productive" activities to include those of public administrations. Previously, all purchases of goods and services were considered intermediate to collective consumption, but the updated design changes this framework. |
