Резюме:The USSR development plan employs computers primarily for two tasks: direct plan estimation and economic process modeling using economic-mathematical models. Direct estimates, involving simple operations such as matrix-vector multiplication and aggregation, account for approximately 70% of computing time and cover all sections of the national economic plan. Given the complexity of real-world economic processes, models are simplified to capture only essential features, as full detail leads to computational inefficiency. To achieve a multifaceted representation of the economy, a system of interconnected models is necessary. A general framework for such a system has been developed, though full practical implementation is ongoing.
