This research discusses the most important concepts of Sustainable Industrial Development, Innovation, The Global Innovation Index, the importance of Innovation for Sustainable Industrial Development, analysis of innovation and Egyptian industry, the challenges of innovation in Egyptian industry, some indicators of innovation in Egyptian industry and the most important International experiences (Sweden, Finland, Brazil, South Korea, China, India), Regional experiences (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco( and local experiences (Cleaner Production Technology Center, Council of Technology and Innovation Industry, Academy of Scientific Research) to support and stimulate innovation in the Egyptian industry.
