| Crynodeb: | Econometric analysis focuses on the empirical investigation of quantitative relationships between economic variables as envisioned by economic theory. The analysis is related to the concept of a model, which defines a certain structure. A model refers to a hypothetical set of relationships that connect economic variables in a well-defined manner to explain a specific economic phenomenon. Three conditions must be met for a theoretical model to be considered workable from an econometric perspective: explicit formulation of relationships, defining their form, and specifying the parameters to include. Additionally, variables must be defined in a manner that allows for actual statistical observation. The structure includes parameters related to economic relationships as well as parameters of the distributions of stochastic elements, leading to a complete econometric structure. |
