This study addresses the deep challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) to international peace and security, providing an in-depth analysis of its impact on both military and civilian domains. It employs an innovative analytical methodology, combining descriptive-analytical and comparative approaches to offer a comprehensive and precise vision of the strategic dimensions and challenges arising from the use of AI in security and military systems. The study aims to design innovative policies for decision-makers to address the dual impact of AI between opportunities and risks, and to anticipate future scenarios through the "Backcasting" methodology, developing effective strategies capable of addressing future security challenges. Among its notable contributions is the development of the Artificial Intelligence Military Doctrine Impact Index (AIMDII), which evaluates the influence of AI applications on armed conflicts and international security. This index assesses the capabilities of autonomous systems, analyzes their effectiveness in military environments, and determines their impact on defense and offensive strategies. The research emphasizes that military AI is a transformative force reshaping traditional concepts of national and international security. It recommends adopting regional and international policies to enhance the capacity of nations, particularly Arab countries, to confront the challenges associated with this technology.
