The study examines the financial policy in socialist countries, focusing on Poland as a model, which has undergone significant changes associated with the shift between centralization and decentralization. In the post-World War II period until 1948, efforts were focused on reconstruction through a three-year plan (1947-1949), and fiscal policy during this period was characterized by extensive decentralization. Subsequently, fiscal policy evolved into a tool for implementing planning directions, responding to political and economic changes in the country.
