The report addresses global risks in two time horizons: immediate/short-term (until 2027), and long-term (until 2035). The most prominent immediate risks include: the escalation of armed conflicts, extreme climate events, the spread of misinformation, and societal polarization. In the long term, the report indicates the continuation of environmental crises, the development of biotechnology, biological threats, the deterioration of biodiversity, and the negative effects of artificial intelligence. The report also highlights four structural forces that shape risks: technological acceleration, climate change, geopolitical shifts, and demographic duality. The presentation concluded with some critical remarks about the report's methodology and content.
