| Sažetak: | Appraisal is the planning means which the planner applies in making a choice between projects to be included, in any plan set for economic development. If the planner omits the appraisal method as a means in setting up his economic plan, the plan and its contents of programs and projects would be established on incorrect bases. The importance of the agricultural plan for economic development in this scope is like any economic plan. The choice of its projects and programs should be made after an appraisal is done according to economic criteria and priorities determined for choice. If that choice is established on wrong appraisals, the plan would be a removed from the achievement of the targets. Since the U.A.R. five-year agricultural plan for economic development is considered an exploration plan in the scope of agricultural planning, it is probable that there is a weakness of the basis on which it was established. Since the projects of animal production can be considered an Important component of the agricultural plan and since the execution of the first five-years plan is on its fifth year, this gives an opportunity for the research worker to assess the production program included in the five-years plan and point out weaknesses, if any, in its construction and execution. Helices, this study would serve, by showing these points indications of Corrections for planning in this field in the future,
as the country is at present, concerned with the preparation of the second agricultural development plan. It is hoped that the findings of this study would "be useful and suggestive for improvement in constructing the second five-years plan on more relevant and more correct basis. |
