| Sumari: | ناقشت الحلقة الثانية من «سيمنار الثلاثاء» للعام الأكاديمي 2025/2026، مشروع تنمية الساحل الشمالي الغربي باعتباره أحد أهم محاور التنمية الاستراتيجية في مصر، حيث أوضح المتحدث الرئيسي (د. عبد الخالق إبراهيم)، طبيعة المشروع وأهدافه ومتطلبات تنفيذه والتحديات التي تواجهه، مع طرح رؤية استراتيجية شاملة تقوم على تحويل الإقليم إلى محور متكامل للتنمية يتجاوز النشاط السياحي الموسمي، ليشمل أنشطة زراعية ولوجستية وخدمية تُعزّز قطاعات الإنتاج المختلفة. وشملت الحلقة استعراضاً للمشروعات الجارية في مدينة العلمين الجديدة بوصفها قاطرة التنمية ونقطة الارتكاز الأولى، وتخطيط منطقة غرب رأس الحكمة كنقطة ارتكاز ثانية، مع التركيز على تنمية الظهير العمراني للإقليم وتحويله إلى منطقة متعددة الطبقات المكانية، تمتد من الشريط الساحلي حتى الواحات، وعلى رأسها واحة سيوة. كما تناولت الحلقة أهمية تعزيز الدور السياحي للإقليم عبر تطوير منتجات سياحية متنوعة تعمل طوال العام، وتحقيق التكامل القطاعي والمكاني، وتطوير البنية التحتية والخدمات، إضافة إلى نتائج المسح الميداني الذي أكد ارتفاع جاذبية المنطقة للاستثمار رغم الحاجة لاستكمال الخدمات الأساسية. وناقشت الحلقة كذلك دور الدولة في خلق بيئة جاذبة للاستثمار من خلال مشروعات استراتيجية كالأبراج والبحيرات الصناعية في العلمين، وأهمية التسويق الفعّال للإقليم. وفي النهاية أكدت الحلقة على أن التطورات الأخيرة تشير إلى بدء تحقق الرؤية الاستراتيجية لتحويل الساحل الشمالي الغربي إلى مركز سياحي واستثماري عالمي.
The second session of the “Tuesday Seminar” for the academic year 2025/2026 discussed the Northwestern Coast Development Project as one of Egypt’s major strategic development pillars. The keynote speaker, Dr. Abdel Khalek Ibrahim, explained the nature of the project, its objectives, implementation requirements, and the challenges it faces, while presenting a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at transforming the region into an integrated development hub that goes beyond seasonal tourism to include agricultural, logistical, and service activities that strengthen various productive sectors. The session also reviewed the ongoing projects in New Alamein City, identified as the primary driver of development and the first anchor point, as well as the planning of the West Ras El Hekma area as a second anchor, with a focus on developing the region’s urban hinterland and transforming it into a multi-layered spatial zone extending from the coastal strip to the oases—most notably Siwa Oasis. The session further highlighted the importance of strengthening the region’s tourism role by developing diverse, year-round tourism products, achieving sectoral and spatial integration, and improving infrastructure and services. It also presented the findings of a field survey that confirmed the growing attractiveness of the region for investment despite the need to complete essential services. Additionally, the session discussed the state’s role in creating an investment-friendly environment through strategic projects such as towers and artificial lakes in New Alamein, as well as the importance of effective marketing for the region. In conclusion, the session emphasized that recent developments indicate the initial realization of the strategic vision to transform the Northwestern Coast into a global tourism and investment hub. |
