The recommendations and policies proposed by the First Experts’ Meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year focused on reviewing the strategic framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the National Economic Development Plan 2025, with the aim of enhancing resource efficiency and achieving sustainable development. The meeting emphasized the need to develop financial management mechanisms by improving coordination among government entities, the private sector, and civil society, as well as activating financial oversight tools to increase the efficiency of public spending. It also highlighted the importance of reforming the training and capacity-building system across various economic sectors. Additionally, the meeting proposed establishing a more flexible legislative and administrative framework that promotes transparency and accountability, while strengthening partnerships with the private sector and adopting a participatory financing model that links developmental and economic objectives. |
